Hull Profile Description:

This Boulder Boat Works High Side Dory is ideal for those high gradient freestone rivers and wave trains. The 35” bow helps blast through those standing waves and keep lateral waves at bay. Our signature rocker profile allows the boat to stay nimble with a shorter wet line and our pronounced chines help hold your line with little effort. The High Side is the do-it-all hull in our lineup that can tackle anything thrown its way but may not be the best option for those slower tailwater rivers with prevalent wind.

Model Description:

The Pro Guide Model is our signature dory build providing full white ash interior wood components providing the undeniable mystique of a Boulder. The Pro Guide build provides sleek curves and the structural integrity of our well thought out wood components. The Pro Guide is the quintessential model in our fleet, providing all of the benefits of our hull material and construction processes with the attractive characteristics of a wood drift boat.

Construction Overview:

Hull: Our hand welded hulls are designed and built to withstand the toughest conditions at the lowest of waters. The natural buoyancy, flexibility, and quiet nature are all major benefits of our signature lightweight sand shade polymer hull. These benefits of our HDPE hull are what sets Boulder Boat Works boats apart from other manufacturers.

Structure: The white ash wood components have been finished with a mix of Linex and bright (epoxy/varnish) finish throughout, providing the extra durability of Linex on gunwales and the handpicked white ash with tons of character in the grain for the remainder of the structural wood parts (bow stem, dash, rear knee brace, ribs, seat rails, and transom plates). The rest of our interior polymer components throughout the boat are hand milled and welded to provide a uniform look and lightweight feel of the boat. Stainless steel hardware is used throughout the boat to eliminate any corrosion or rust.
